Ross Ulrich Family

We live in a quiet part of the outskirts of Tamale, a city of approx. 300,000 people. Tamale is the hub city for northern Ghana. All of our northern-based missionaries come to Tamale for their supplies.

Ross’ work consists of overseeing all the missionaries, both north and south. Pray for much wisdom for him, as there are constantly new challenges and trials in the work. Pray also that he will not be bogged down under the everyday load, but that he’ll spend much time with the Lord to gain renewed vision and strength for the overall work. Overseeing the missionaries involves much travel on dangerous roads so please pray for continual safety.

Cynthia’s role is house mother for our large family and our extended missionary “family” who stops in for a meal or overnight when they are out to Tamale. She helps home school our children. She packs up her husband and sends him off with cheery good-byes and much prayer on his frequent travels. She is descipling one of the church sisters.

Pray that God will keep our love alive, as husband and wife, even in the pressures of constant ministry. Also pray that God will help us not to neglect our children in the busyness of mission life. But above all, pray that we’ll take the time to sit at our Lords feet daily, and renew our love by gazing into His face!

Pray for that we can keep our children profitably occupied, especially our sons who need to know working skills.

We are humbled to realize that people, whom we have never met, are praying for us. Truly, “other men have labored, and (we) have entered into their labors”. What a thrill to have a part in building God’s eternal kingdom! Hallelujah!

We had been home on furlough since May, and have returned to Africa in March. Please pray for us as we re-adjust to life on the mission field.
